My brother (we'll call him "J") always manages to find the most out-of-the-way, uncommon, awesome adventure destinations. This time he took us to a place called Devil's Playground. Who would have known that the Devil's Playground is practically in our back yard?! (Ok, so not really, but it's in Utah.)
What it is: A grouping of fantastic rock formations in the desert of western Utah made from hard, scratchy rock that's almost like granite - grey with sparkly bits of quartz in it. They look almost like granite version of Goblin Valley, only cooler. Some are like giant hollow Dinosaur eggs, some are like swiss cheese, and we even found some that resembled sharks, turtles, and the ghosts on Pac Man.
Since they're really indescribable, I'll just post the pictures so you can see for yourself.
Looks so cool! Too bad it's 5 hours away from us. I was hoping it was closer.
ReplyDeleteIt IS cool! You should definitely try to go at least once in your life. I definitely wouldn't mind going again. :)
DeleteThat looks like a lot of fun!
ReplyDeleteTONS of fun! My niece and nephews had lots of fun catching lizards, too. We even saw the cutest little bunny! :)
